Veteran Shellers

Veteran Shellers

Long time Sanibel shellers from Canada joined me for a beautiful day of shelling and wildlife viewing. The dolphins were in a playful mood. I was most impressed by the keen eye of veteran sheller Chris. Chris found the largest nutmeg I have ever seen. The horse conch was a great find. That size of horse conch is hard to find. Great finds, Keep on shelling!

Its sooo awesome watching dolphins play, how cool to catch that kodak moment!

Nice nutmeg, a pretty big one. Good finds, exciting to get the big horse conch.

Sounds like a great day on the eater and exploring!

    Hi Brian,
Our family certainly enjoyed our 1/2 day with you. Next time we will have to try the flats. You know many a secret place to hunt shells. The nutmeg is now home in Winnipeg. It has a place of honour on Chris and Leanne's mantel.
    Thanks again,
    Kay
