Backporch Cleaning

Backporch Cleaning

The rain has been from here to Cuba for the last 48 hours. I thought,” Why not organize my back porch?” It sounded good at the time. Now I need to get more cases to put the shells in. Then putting everything in my own dewy decimal system ( Panama, Everglades, and Cayo Costa) This is going to take a while. Maybe I should have thought this one through better before opening this can of worm shells. Has the rain stopped? Can I go outside now?

I think that old wooden soda case would look cool with some glass over it to make it some sort of table. Are you getting psych'd for all these super negative low tides coming up in November?

I like Kaybe's table idea…. Thanks for taunting me with all those great shells. Is that a horseshoe crab skeleton? That thing is huge! Where did you find that?

Yes that is a horseshoe crab. Where did I find it? Actually I didn't, my daughter did. She found it in the ten thousand islands in the Florida Everglades when we were exploring . It's one of her favorite spots because "dad doesn't know anybody down there".

I ♥ the idea from Kaybe of putting glass over the case to make a table or something. Very clever and would be oh-so cool!

I'll be there in November to take advantage of som of those low tides!! Yipee….I'm hoping those storms will stir things up way out there and push them in by the 5th!! I love Kaybe's idea too about the table!!
